Betty Peters works at the firm as needed wearing various hats. She and John met while in college and have been married for more than 50 years. Betty has an extensive background in customer service, having served as manager of customer service in several other firms. She is a gourmet cook, loves to read, visiting her grandchildren and is passionate about her Parson Jack Russell Terrier – Lady. She also enjoys traveling and the beach.
Linda M. Dungan

Linda M. Dungan is a Financial Planning Assistant with Professional Wealth Strategies. She joined the team in 2008, with a career spanning more than 30 years in the financial industry.
Linda has worked in several major wire houses throughout her career, holding various positions as a Registered Sales Assistant, Broker, Operations Manager and Assistants for many branch managers. She was the lead assistant on 3 successful teams while with the major wire houses.
Linda holds the Series 7, 63 and 66 FINRA Securities registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network.
Linda was born and raised in Boise, Idaho and attended Boise State University when it was a junior college. She went on to successfully complete her passion with a major in Fashion Merchandising and Design and a minor in Business at Utah State University.
Linda has one son, Bryan, serving as an Engineer and a Captain for the Cottonwood, AZ Fire Department and a daughter-in-law, Julie, who is a Supervising RN in the Neonatal ward at St Joe’s Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. She also has two beautiful granddaughters. Olivia graduated with a degree in Physiology, College of Medicine from the University of Arizona in 2016 and will continue on to Medical School. Georgia graduated from Boulder Creek HS, also in 2016; she is an avid horse woman, competed in the World Rein Cow Horse Show 2 years in a row, coming in 10th overall and won the 2015 Championship in Las Vegas in March 2016. She will be attending Baylor University this fall on a full-ride scholarship and was the #1 recruit for Baylor’s Equestrian Team. She plans to go on with her horse passion and become a Nutritionist for horses.
Linda lives in the mid-town area of Tucson and keeps busy with her 1 Championship Yorkshire terrier – Mia, a Yorkie mix named Kendall that she adopted from HALO, a no kill shelter in Phoenix, an 8- year old Yorkie named Justice and a Box Tortoise – Heluna. Linda’s passion for animals shows with her past variety of pets. She loves to travel, nationally and abroad, walking, exercising, horseback riding, is an avid gardener and, of course, keeping up with her little Yorkies!
She is a big University of Arizona fan, attending some football and most basketball games. She will now be following the Baylor Bears sports teams, especially football and the Equestrian Team. She is an active Corporate Board member of Sigma Kappa Sorority at the U of A. She is also a Football fan of Boise State University and the New England Patriots.
MaryLou Oliva joined the Professional Wealth Strategies team in August 2015 as an Assistant following an eighteen-year career over two spans of employment with IBM, starting her first span in Westchester County, New York, where she was born and raised. She held various positions in Administration, Operations and Management, leaving IBM after the birth of her son, Paul. After her second child, her daughter, Kiana, started school, MaryLou entered her field of expertise, Human Resources. She became the Director of HR for a family-owned development company, leaving after implementing a Professional Employer Organization to handle all of the company’s HR needs five years later to become a Buyer for Grubb & Ellis Property Management. She supported the IBM account team and was promoted to a Financial Analyst. Fifteen years after her first span of employment concluded, she was rehired by IBM in Administration, shortly afterwards being promoted to the US HR Internship Program Manager for Research University Recruiting. She was transferred to Tucson, Arizona, in 2008, where the majority of her family has migrated to. She held various position in IBM HR throughout the remainder of her career, with her last position as a Corporate HR Appeals Case Manager.
MaryLou holds a BA in Psychology and Human Relations from Pace University in New York. MaryLou’s youngest is her fur “baby”, Shayna, a blue-eyed, silky white Siberian Husky. MaryLou enjoys Major League Baseball (go Yankees!!), UA softball and basketball (go Cats!!), cooking, baking, dancing and Zumba.
